Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians - REMOTE after onsite training - Troy, Ohio

Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required. Order Entry Pharmacy Technician Remote (After Training) Troy, OH We are seeking Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians for a remote position after completing 8+ weeks of onsite training in Troy, OH. This role involves accurately entering prescription data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations. Duties: • Swiftly and accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system. • Communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses. • Troubleshoot prescription and patient data entry discrepancies. • Ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input. • Work with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals. • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. • Work with urgency and efficiency to meet pharmacy demands. Schedule/Shift: • 2nd Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM • Every other weekend and rotating holidays. • shift differential pay Requirements: • High school diploma or GED required. • Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy (must be in good standing). • Strong computer skills. • Understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge. • Math and analytical skills (with a focus on calculations). • Minimum of two (2) years of long-term care pharmacy experience preferred (but not required). • Must be able to work onsite in Troy, OH for at least 8 weeks before transitioning to remote work.
