Summary

We are seeking a strong DevOps Engineer who is experienced in building infrastructure as code as well as strong release deployment pipelines to join our growing infrastructure platform team and work on CI/CD processes in a cloud-native AWS Kubernetes based ecosystem.     To be successful in the role, you enjoy working with engineers to create robust and comprehensive capabilities with a lot of context and minimal guidance. You are a quick learner who is excited about implementing new technologies, an advocate for software craftsmanship, and take full ownership of projects from conception to production. You have strong written and communication skills, have built automation to scale and work well cross functionally with product, product management and engineering.  

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and implementation of an automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Artifactory 
• Collaborate and engage with development teams to improve the development experience 
• Integrate necessary Security, Compliance and Quality gates into deployment pipelines 
• Build infrastructure as code, drive automated configurations and maintain them  
• Provide support for troubleshooting issues related to CI/CD pipelines 
• Design, build, and automate new solutions centered around release stability and readiness 

Requirements

• Strong 4-5+ years hands-on DevOps experience working on complex cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (eg. Github Actions, Spinnaker)  
• 3-5+ years of experience with AWS or GoogleCloud 
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio) 
• 2+ years of experience with managing cloud infrastructure as a code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis, or similar  
• Proficient in at least one or more of these programming languages: java, ruby, golang, python 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively across multiple teams in the organization
