The Platform (Infrastructure) Team builds and maintains the core foundation that powers all Protex systems. We foster robust edge-to-cloud connectivity, creating scalable data infrastructure and high-performance backend services. Our team ensures strong edge deployments for real-time computer vision applications and delivers dependable systems that enable proactive workplace safety at global scale.

We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure efforts across cloud and edge environments. You’ll architect and implement CI/CD pipelines, design scalable observability systems, and drive system reliability across globally distributed environments. You'll help shape a seamless developer experience, maintain environment parity (Dev, Stage, Prod), and ensure secure, high-quality data across all regions.  

You’ll work closely with engineering teams to support well-architected, cost-effective, and secure infrastructure. This includes proactive cost management, cloud security enforcement, and compliance with regional standards like GDPR. 

• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles

• Proven experience in SRE with a focus on uptime, reliability, and system health

• Expertise in monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices

• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation (cloud and edge)

• Experience with real-time, distributed, or IoT infrastructure

• Experience with Unix-based operating systems

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform

• Experience managing split environments (Dev, Staging, Prod) with consistent, production-quality data 

• Ability to deploy infrastructure across regions while maintaining GDPR and other compliance standards

• Substantial knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch)

• Demonstrated focus on developer experience and supporting cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated understanding of cloud security best practices (secrets management, threat prevention, vulnerability mitigation)

• Ability to influence technical direction, mentor others, and implement solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Experience implementing best practices to improve DORA metrics

• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development for edge deployments
