WFH Chat Agent / Social Agent

A Remote Chat Agent / Social Agent is responsible for providing customer support, answering inquiries, and engaging with pet owners via online chat, social media, and other digital communication platforms. Their primary goal is to assist clients with general pet care questions, appointment scheduling, and basic veterinary advice while ensuring excellent customer service. Job Responsibilities: • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and social media platforms. • Provide general information on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care (non-medical advice). • Assist clients with appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and follow-up queries. • Monitor social media accounts and engage with pet owners professionally and compassionately. • Escalate medical concerns or emergency cases to licensed veterinarians or appropriate personnel. • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and inquiries. • Stay updated on veterinary products, services, and industry trends. • Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards. Qualifications & Skills: • Prior experience in customer service, veterinary assistance, or pet-related fields is a plus. • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey empathy and professionalism. • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and basic pet care guidelines. • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a remote setting. • Proficiency in using chat software, social media platforms, and CRM tools. • Passion for animals and a customer-first attitude.
