Business Product Principal

Act as a key leader for cross-functional Scrum development teams to deliver valuable product enhancements and integrations. Decomposes large requirements (value streams) into smaller requirements (epics). Provides information on current and future business architecture including business strategies, operating modules, organizational structure processes, and technology and information functionality. Assists in the integration of programs across channels with internal partners and manages program effectiveness against target metrics. Stays current on competitive trends/threads and identifies opportunities to beat market expectations. Builds and leverages solid working relations with business and product stakeholders, other product owners, and the architecture and strategy teams to facilitate the achievement of product strategy. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements ?Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* plus 5 years of experience. The position requires experience with: XML analysis; SQL; HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM); leading, planning, organizing and overseeing the work of a team to deliver business requested enterprise-wide features/updates; gather business requirements by conducting user story refinement meetings; business analysis by understanding the business impact of making application-level changes. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
