AVERAGE DAY AS A WEEKEND CAREGIVER When working as a Weekend Caregiver at Legacy Village of St. George, you can expect to be fully supported as you embark on your journey in providing exceptional care to our residents. In this weekend CNA position, you primarily work the AM, PM, or NOC shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. You also support their mobility needs, helping them with walking, transferring, and positioning. Monitoring vital signs, assisting with medication management, and recording observations are also part of your daily routine. In addition to physical care, you also have the opportunity to provide emotional support to our residents. Engaging in meaningful conversations, offering companionship, and actively listening to their needs and concerns are all crucial aspects of your role as a Caregiver at Legacy Village. You work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to report any changes in residents' conditions and provide input on their care plans.
