Software Engineer - Manufacturing Systems

Develop and maintain software solutions that improve and optimize our manufacturing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner. Continuously monitor and improve the performance and functionality of existing software systems. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development, and provide recommendations for their implementation. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software projects, while adhering to project timelines and budgets. Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed. Adhere to company security protocols and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Contribute to the development and maintenance of software development standards and processes. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure their needs are being met. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Proactively identify and escalate potential risks or issues related to software development. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components. Mentor and train junior software engineers on coding best practices and company standards. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the software engineering team.
