About the position Lily's Bridal is seeking a Social Media and Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and operations teams. This full-time role involves creating and managing social media content, collaborating with industry vendors, and staying updated on trends in the bridal industry. The position requires in-store presence and occasional travel, with some flexibility for remote work on designated days. Responsibilities ? Creating and scheduling content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok , ? Connecting with industry vendors through social media, shoots, and email , ? Collaborating with team members and consultants , ? Staying organized with planning, emails, and important dates , ? Researching social media and industry trends , ? Writing blogs, press releases, and other content , ? Updating the company website , ? Building and executing social media strategy , ? Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content that fosters community engagement , ? Optimizing company pages on social platforms to enhance visibility , ? Capturing and analyzing social data/metrics to improve strategies , ? Collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions Requirements ? Knowledge or interest in the bridal/weddings industry , ? Experience with personal or professional social media usage , ? Familiarity with the Wix web platform , ? Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills , ? Demonstrable experience with social networking and social analytics tools , ? Understanding of online marketing and major marketing channels , ? Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with strong multitasking and organizational skills , ? Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving industry , ? Availability to travel a few times a year , ? Majoring in Communications, Marketing, Event Planning, or related fields , ?
