Job Title: Purchasing Agent Location: Middleburg, PA $24 - $26 per hour depending on experience Full benefits package including medical 401k PTO and more! Summary of Position: Our client, a custom modular home builder is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to manage vendor negotiations and oversee the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services essential for our operations. This role is integral to ensuring cost efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall company goals. Key Responsibilities: ? Analyze project requirements, prioritize tasks, and identify potential risks to meet timeline and budget goals. ? Continuously evaluate products, services, and vendors to recommend cost-saving and process improvement strategies. ? Procure goods and services promptly while securing the best quality and price. ? Maintain accurate inventories, emphasizing precise take-offs, cycle counting, and effective communication with production teams and the Plant Manager. ? Adhere to and promote the company?s safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment. ? Uphold company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook. ? Assist the Purchasing Manager with multiple assignments as required. ? Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Competencies: ? Effective problem-solving skills. ? Strong customer/client focus. ?
