Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist to support our client?s medical facility based in Tallahassee, FL. This is a 3-month assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Responsibilities:Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.Must have qualifications/experience:High school diploma or equivalent REQUIREDMedical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferredJob Title: PhlebotomistLocation: Tallahassee, FLSchedule: Mon to Fri 7 am to 4 pm, every other Sat 8 am to 12 pmPay Range: $17.75 to $19.75/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)Pride Global offers eligible employee?s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Interested?
