PHLEBOTOMY TECH II/COURIER

Phlebotomy Tech II/Courier- Laboratory Description: Correctly performs patient identification, venipuncture/capillary collection technique, and specimen labeling Performs specimen processing functions accurately and efficiently Correctly performs special phlebotomy procedures Demonstrates initiative and leadership qualities Compliance with Laboratory Safety Policies & Procedures Demonstrates adequate knowledge of the hospital and laboratory computer systems Experience/Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Current driver?s license with no major driving citations and able to be covered under AMC auto insurance required Certification in Phlebotomy by ASCP (or other nationally recognized certification agency) or completion of AS degree in Medical Laboratory Technician program preferred At least one year phlebotomy experience preferred Perks/Benefits: (for eligible employees): Have optimal opportunity for career growth within our growing organization Medical / Dental Retirement Plan PTO and paid life insurance What Sets Us Apart Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
