About the position Fann Contracting, Inc., a family-owned company with over 60 years of experience, is seeking Heavy Construction Laborers to join their team in Prescott, Arizona. As a leading contractor in heavy-civil and heavy-highway projects, the company specializes in various services including mass excavation, rock handling, underground utilities, and asphalt paving. The positions available are full-time and permanent, requiring statewide travel within Arizona. The hourly pay for local work ranges from $19.30 to $25.35, while traveling positions offer a higher pay scale of $26.30 to $33.35 per hour. Additionally, laborers will receive daily subsistence travel pay ranging from $70 to $80, depending on the specifics of the job. Responsibilities ? Perform various labor tasks related to heavy construction projects. , ? Assist in mass excavation and rock handling operations. , ? Support underground utility installations and maintenance. , ? Engage in asphalt paving and aggregate crushing activities. , ? Operate equipment and assist in shop labor tasks as needed. , ? Implement traffic control measures as a Flagger and Traffic Control Laborer. , ? Work as a Crusher Laborer, managing materials and equipment effectively. , ? Participate in training programs to enhance skills and safety knowledge. Requirements ? Must be at least 18 years of age. , ? Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening. , ? Completion of OSHA 10-Hour training is required; training will be provided if not already completed. , ? Willingness to travel to various project sites throughout Arizona. , ? Strong listening skills and ability to follow safety instructions. , ? Ability to work productively under pressure and pay attention to detail. , ? Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; capable of working independently or as part of a team. , ? Dependable and punctual, with availability to work various hours including days, nights, and weekends. Nice-to-haves ? Eagerness to learn and participate in training programs. , ?
