Job Description

Seaport Federal Credit Union, located in Elizabeth, NJ is actively seeking a reliable Full-Time Teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the ?frontline? of our credit union and will play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of transactions daily, communicate with different types of clients and sell credit union?s products/services. ? Processes member transactions according to office policies and procedures ? Maintain knowledge of all Credit Union products and services in order to effectively promote products. ? Open new accounts as needed and handle member inquiries ? Complete daily deposit slips and investigate, resolve, and report out of balance conditions and resolutions. ? Perform other duties as may be needed/assigned (which include filing, faxing, correspondence, etc.). ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. ? Qualified candidates will be at least high school graduate (or equivalent) ? 1-3 years of experience in banking, credit unions or customer service experience preferred. ? Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus ?
