FINANCIAL ANALYST

Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Analyst to join a company in Sarasota, Fl. Responsibilities: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and forecasted financial performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications of business decisions. Evaluate investment opportunities and assess potential risks and returns. Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Education: Bachelors Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related role. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel. Experience with financial software and tools. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
