Entry-Level Computer Repair Technician
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, as demonstrated by work experience and/or educational pursuits. The Entry Level Technician will provide technical support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist customers with their technology needs. You will receive training as needed. All tools, hardware, and software needed for the position will be supplied by the company. Duties ? Provide technical support for Windows, Mac, and Linux devices, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution. ? Troubleshoot software issues and perform hardware diagnostics to identify and resolve technical problems. ? Assist in the installation and configuration of operating systems and applications on various devices. ? Conduct field service tasks, including on-site repairs and maintenance of computer hardware. ? Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve customer experience. ? Maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and customer interactions. ? Engage in retail sales activities by providing product recommendations based on customer needs. ? Be willing to drive up to a 75-mile radius using a personal vehicle. Experience ? Prior knowledge, skill and ability to build or repair basic computer systems ? Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems to successful resolution ? Previous experience in technical support or retail sales is preferred but not required. ? Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role. Requirements ? Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and hardware diagnostics ? Basic knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for various platforms (Windows, Android, iOS, Mac). ? High school diploma or GED ? Clean criminal background ? Valid Florida Driver's License ? Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 50 lbs. ? Climb ladders and go into tight spaces such as attics or crawl spaces. ?
