Job Summary:The Signature Line Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation of all food items for the Plough and the Exchange. We work with local farms and purveyors to bring the highest quality ingredients to life. We strive in creating a creative and respectful environment amongst our staff and want to put out the finest plates in the city. Our goal is to be at the highest level and have fun while doing it.Responsibilities:QUALIFICATIONS: Food Handlers Certification preferred. Company is willing to train sanitation and food safe practices. Demonstrates integrity, passion, and respect for the food and others.Must be able to take direction and think critically about food leaving the kitchen.Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests.Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.Must work well with team to meet goals and objectives.Must be able to keep a clean, organized and well-stocked station. Attitude is everything and coworkers are willing and happy to train and help new associates. Follow recipes, cooking techniques and plating procedures.
