AI/ML Technical Lead

At PayPal, we?re looking for an experienced AI/ML Technical Lead to join our talented team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for data-driven solutions, a deep understanding of both Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.We?re looking for someone who is comfortable working on complex projects and can think strategically while leading a team. The AI/ML Technical Lead must have a strong background in software engineering and data structures, and an enthusiasm for leveraging AI/ML technologies to drive business objectives. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and problem solver, with the ability to explain technical concepts and implementations to non-technical stakeholders. They will also need to demonstrate a track record of success in leading projects with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and data analysts. Qualifications:? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field? 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data structures, and algorithms? 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning? Expert level knowledge of ML/AI frameworks and technologies, such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.? Knowledge of software development/engineering best practices and methodologies? Proven track record in developing and deploying ML/AI-based solutions ? Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment? Excellent communication and problem solving skills Responsibilities: Lead a team of engineers, scientists, and data analysts to develop and deploy ML/AI-based solutions. Create and implement strategies to drive business objectives with AI/ML technologies. Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns. Design and implement data structures and algorithms. Implement software development/engineering best practices and methodologies. Develop and implement ML/AI frameworks and technologies. Communicate technical concepts and implementations to non-technical stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve issues. Monitor and optimize performance of ML/AI-based solutions.
