Trade Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:Responsible for reporting, analyzing, and resolving issues related to fuel optimization activity within the USSupports supply and sourcing activities through accurate setup of supply agreements and sites in related programsProactively identifies supply agreement setup issues and validate accurate data entry of loading numbers, indexes, products, carriers, etc.Reviews and evaluates fuel contract compliance per designation of RFP awardPrepares daily delivery and cost reporting to support supply execution functions and performanceContributes to special ad hoc projects as needed within Global Fuels teamIdentifies efforts to streamline or improve team analysis efforts or team processesProvides transparency on success, failure, and performance of optimization activity to managementCoordinates with multiple stakeholders across Optimization, Sourcing, Supply Coordinators and Global Fuels teamContributes to team effort by accomplishing determined Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company Plan guidelinesEnsures excellent service is provided to internal and external stakeholdersJOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degreeOn-call every other weekend to resolve system set-up issues1-3 years of petroleum supply and marketing experience, including practical knowledge of various index based pricing mechanismsAbility to analyze and combine multiple data sets to provide insightsExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational and networking skillsStrong attention to detailExperience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
