Production Supervisor, Model Y, General Assembly (Night Shift)

What To Expect As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading a dynamic team of Associates and Leads while managing operations and driving key performance metrics on the manufacturing floor. You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow teams to ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment. What You'll Do • Build and lead a high-performing production team to consistently meet quality and production targets • Collaborate with Engineering to improve product manufacturability and line productivity • Develop and implement training programs and hiring plans for production team members • Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve production issues • Ensure quality standards are met and defects are prevented from leaving the production are • Maintain and enforce Standardized Manufacturing Instructions and operating procedures • Promote a strong culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and best practices What You'll Bring • 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably managing direct reports • Experience in hiring, training, and developing production team members • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and improve performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs) • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
