Senior Specialist Environmental Health & Safety

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing our company's environmental health and safety policies to ensure the well-being of our employees and the communities we serve. Develop and implement company-wide environmental health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental health and safety. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and address any concerns. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety protocols and procedures. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs. Stay current on industry best practices and make recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures. Conduct investigations and prepare reports on any safety incidents or accidents. Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure compliance and promote best practices. Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts in the event of a safety incident. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related activities. Communicate and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies regarding environmental health and safety matters. Develop and manage budget for environmental health and safety initiatives.
