HVAC Service Systems Technician, Level 2

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across various properties. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in equipment repair and property maintenance, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. This position requires a proactive approach to system design and implementation, as well as the capability to work independently and lead projects. Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters to assess electrical components. • Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including installation and replacement of units. • Build and design custom HVAC solutions tailored to specific property needs. • Execute welding tasks as necessary for system repairs or modifications. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure seamless operation across all properties. • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems. Experience • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role, with a strong background in equipment repair and property maintenance. • Proficiency in working with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable. • Familiarity with mechanical systems design and installation processes. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC systems. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues effectively. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. • Relevant certifications in HVAC technology or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
