As a Housekeeper - Windcrest Health and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of our facilities. Job Responsibilities You will be responsible for maintaining all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner to protect the safety and health of others. Your duties will include inspecting and using judgment in determining which cleaning techniques to follow, as outlined in orientation guidelines. You will also be expected to demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by your supervisor. In addition, you may be required to disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials are essential. You will also be responsible for keeping carts properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition. A key aspect of this role is promoting effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times, and assisting in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
