Founding Engineer
Our mission at Qpid is to help people make easier, more informed purchase decisions by removing the time and stress from product discovery. We are a pre-seed funded startup looking for a founding engineer to be accountable for architecting and building the technical and cultural foundation for a consumer preference platform that gives people more control over their time and their data, while simultaneously fueling a more efficient, economical, and environmental commerce experience. What You Will Do
As Founding Engineer, you will be accountable for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Qpid's product stack. You will invent Qpid's engineering organization and eventually hire a talented team, inspired by Qpid's mission and energized to help realize our goals. Write High-Quality Code: get the product to market and maximize the number of experiments that can be run to inform technical design decisions and requirements for system configuration, provisioning, production deployments, system monitoring and alerting Engage with Customers: participate actively in shared messaging and social channels to gather feedback, tease out use cases, answer product questions, and triage bugs Problem-Solve: diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues both with customers and with internal teams Develop: define and implement processes for project management, tracking and troubleshooting performance and reliability, and orchestrating the CI/CD pipeline Co-Lead: partner with CEO on critical investor relations and business development initiatives to evangelize and execute Qpid's vision Apply Job!
