Warehouse Receiver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The Receiver plays a crucial role in ensuring that incoming shipments are accurately processed and organized, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with package handling, order fulfillment, and basic inventory management. Duties • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. • Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment. • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels. • Assist in order picking and packing to fulfill e-commerce orders efficiently. • Maintain an organized receiving area and ensure all items are properly stored. • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. • Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and ensure accurate record-keeping. • Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment within the distribution center. Requirements • Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred. • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process orders. • Basic math skills for inventory management tasks. • Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment safely. • Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
