Shopify / Shopify Plus Developer - Remote

Human Element designs and develops custom Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts for growing brands. Our projects focus on optimizing customer experience, building scalable themes, and integrating Shopify with complex business systems like ERPs and CRMs. We're looking for a Remote Shopify / Shopify Plus Developer to join our team. If you have experience developing custom themes and apps on Shopify and enjoy solving business challenges through technology, we'd love to talk. What You'll do: • Build and maintain custom Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts and themes. • Develop custom sections, templates, and features using Liquid and Shopify APIs. • Customize checkout experiences and implement Shopify Plus features (scripts, flow). • Integrate Shopify stores with ERPs, CRMs, PIMs, and third-party tools. • Optimize performance for both mobile and desktop experiences. • Collaborate with design and project management teams to bring UX/UI concepts to life. • Provide support and maintenance for Shopify-based clients. Skills & Experience Desired • 2+ years of experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus development. • Proficiency in Liquid templating, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript. • Experience with Shopify APIs (REST, GraphQL) and third-party app integrations. • Familiarity with React or other front-end frameworks for headless Shopify builds. • Proficiency with Git version control workflows. • Experience with ERP integrations, particularly SAP or Microsoft Dynamics. • Knowledge of headless commerce (Hydrogen, Storefront API) and composable architectures. • Experience with subscription platforms (Recharge, Bold) and other key Shopify Plus apps. • Cloud deployment experience with Shopify Plus and relevant SaaS solutions.
