About the position HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is currently seeking an Ultrasound Director/Emergency Medicine Core Faculty to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, in collaboration with the University of Houston Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine. The Ultrasound Director will lead in the development and implementation of the curriculum, instructional methodologies, and evaluation of ultrasound clinical and didactic education provided to the residents. The director will oversee the EM residency ultrasound rotation and education, the quality of all POCUS in the department, the residency ultrasound committee including faculty and residency members, and the recruitment of Ultrasound faculty. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the ultrasound curriculum. , Oversee the EM residency ultrasound rotation and education. , Ensure the quality of all POCUS in the department. , Manage the residency ultrasound committee including faculty and residency members. , Recruit Ultrasound faculty. Requirements Board certified / board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM). , Completed a fellowship in Ultrasound.
