Calibration Technician
Perform equipment calibration and instrumentation set-up, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair on equipment serving the manufacturing, utilities and facility equipment. Develop extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process and equipment operation to help to identify calibration needs. Ensures the calibration status of all measuring and critical manufacturing equipment. Follow environmental health and safety procedures during startup, shutdown, trouble shooting, and operation of equipment. Read, interpret & maintain equipment diagrams in support of equipment repair & design. Establish calibration and test methods for new and existing equipment. Accountable to communicate and coordinate with customers and stakeholders regarding schedule and impact of work being performed. Ensures calibration activities are performed in a professional and efficient manner to minimize equipment and/or line down time. Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
