About the position The Package Handler position at FedEx Ground involves the efficient and safe movement of packages, documents, and supplies within a warehouse environment. This role is non-driving and requires physical stamina to handle packages of varying weights, ensuring timely processing and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Provide movement of packages, documents, and supply support in a timely manner. , Utilize effective scan/load methods for package handling. , Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level. , Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance. , Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours. , Ability to bend and squat for designated work hours. , Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level. , Ability to work in all weather conditions if required. , Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required. , Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.
