Key job responsibilities Amazon Music Community and Fandom is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer for our team in Sunnyvale or San Francisco office. As a Software Engineer, you will work both independently and alongside teams in Music, Amazon, and third-party to architect and develop large-scale solutions that will delight our customers through voice and visual experiences. Youll also be coaching other engineers, developing engineering and operational processes, and encouraging excellence within the team. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience developing native mobile applications on iOS or Android using Swift/ObjC or Kotlin/Java
- Experience developing cross-platform technologies, including React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform / Compose Multiplatform

- Experience developing backend services using Java, NodeJs
- Experience with building large scale distributed systems on AWS or any other cloud provider.
- Ability to work independently with partner teams to drive innovation and issue closure.

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
