Qualified candidates will have back end and front end development experience with focus on full life-cycle software design, development, implementation, and verification and testing. The ideal candidate would be a dedicated technical professional with a high level of experience in or knowledge of the following areas: What You'll Be Doing: • Assist in architecture, design, and development of federated software solutions for use within the DoD and IC leveraging Parsons-owned and GOTS software. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • Work alongside program managers, UI/UX designers, software engineers, hardware engineers, subject matter experts, and customers. • Conduct ongoing code documentation, code coverage, and build version control. • Develop ongoing unit-based tests, create acceptance criteria for QC, conduct peer-review w/ other team members, and review code for others. • Assist in Agile backlog development and directing team efforts. What Required Skills You'll Bring: • BS in Computer Science or equivalent, with 10+ years of technical experience in software engineering. Relevant domain experience maybe accepted in place of a degree. • Candidate must possess an active TS clearance and be willing to sit for a poly. • Ability to attend scheduled and impromptu classified meetings at offices in Colorado Springs and Denver. • 8+ years of experience with Maven • 12+ years of experience with Java ( 11, 17, and/or 21 ) • 7+ years of experience with Java 8 • Experience with Git • Experience with Spring Framework ( Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, etc. ) • Experience with Message Brokers ( Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Experience with Javascript and/or Angular What Desired Skills You'll Bring: • Ability to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to non-technical audiences and senior-level government representatives and corporate executives. • Experience using SAFe Agile development methodologies. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a lead or within a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Security+ certification • Experience with software certification for deployment within DoD environments • Cloud deployment experience and/or certification with AWS and/or Azure Security Clearance Requirements: Top Secret with SCI eligibility and CI Polygraph or willingness to obtain.
