What is the opportunity? Based on knowledge of the business and internal and external risk factors, you will perform activities such as assisting audit manager with planning audits, performing fieldwork through design and operating effectiveness reviews of controls and validate the effectiveness of internal controls, including drafting accurate and fact based findings for management discussions. What will you do? • Participate in audit engagements and projects, maintaining Institute of Internal Auditors professional standards. Engagements and projects span across strategic, operational, regulatory compliance, information technology, risk and finance • In close collaboration with the Senior Manager, deliver crucial contribution during planning, field work and presentation of audit findings • Assist the Senior Manager in developing and implementing data analytics in support of audit planning, execution and reporting • Participate in special audit projects, as requested by senior management of the Bank, as well as a variety of bank-wide high-level initiatives • Assist with the ongoing execution of the Continuous Risk Monitoring programs; and • Overtime, gain deeper understanding of the businesses to become a trusted advisor and partner for the businesses. What you need to succeed? Must have • 3-5 years of Internal and/or External Audit experience, preferably in the Banking/Financial Services industry • Analytical skills and precision in execution and delivery through effective time management skills • An understanding of risk and how controls mitigate those risks, in particular those risks related to the Bank’s processes • Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) at all levels Nice to have • Related Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree • Knowledge of Information technology and experience in data analytics (data gathering, transformation, analytics, and reporting) • Professional Designation (CIA, CPA, CISA, CRMA, CFE) or ability to obtain within 24 months of start date What’s in it for you?
