You'll join the Strategic Finance team responsible for providing decision makers with business insights. As the Finance Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to partner with data, finance, and strategy experts and support a dynamic team across its primary functions. You’ll have the unique opportunity to gain a broad range of experience in the many elements that contribute to the daily operations of a multi-faceted enterprise and develop critical business competencies through various tasks. During this internship, you may assist with the following duties: • Culling data • Visualization strategies and dashboard builds • Synthesis of data into actionable insights • Supporting in preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership • Conducting variance analysis and performance Reporting Preferred Skills: • SQL • Advanced PowerBI • PowerApps • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts • Experience with statistical modeling and analysis • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization Qualities of the ideal candidate: • Strong problem-solving, data-driven, and analytical skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Job-Related Requirements: • Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace • Access to high-speed internet • Technology will be provided Education Level: 3rd year/4th year undergraduate students Degree Target: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar discipline Program Dates: June 2nd to Aug 8th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks) Salary Ranges: $19.00 - $26.50 VSP Vision is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to age, gender, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or protected veteran status.
