We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lending Relationship Manager to join Amegy's Healthcare and Not for Profit team. This role focuses on identifying appropriate lending opportunities, soliciting, and developing all types of business activity specializing in commercial loans. Our Lenders act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients in the Healthcare/Not for Profit 501c space. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to develop strong, low-risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service. You will act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing, and servicing a portfolio of clients. This includes developing, generating, and following up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments. You will also be responsible for calling on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed. In this role, you will be responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing, and perceptive character judgment. Additionally, you will cross-sell other bank products and perform other duties as assigned. This position requires a proactive approach to managing client relationships and a strong understanding of the commercial lending landscape. Responsibilities • Identify appropriate lending opportunities and develop business activity specializing in commercial loans. , • Act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients in the Healthcare/Not for Profit sector. , • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by managing and servicing a portfolio of clients. , • Develop, generate, and follow up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments. , • Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed. , • Conduct sales, credit analysis, and proper loan structuring. , • Interview clients and exercise perceptive character judgment. , • Cross-sell other bank products as appropriate. , • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Typically requires a bachelor's degree. , • 4+ years of directly related experience in banking or commercial lending. , • Formal credit training preferred. , • Strong underwriting skills preferred. , • Local business and market knowledge preferred. , • Basic knowledge of banking products and procedures, consumer and commercial credit structuring. , • Strong sales, client product, and relationship management skills.
