First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Home Equity Loan Originator to join our team in the Mortgage Banking Department. This role is responsible for generating residential hone equity loan production from branch referrals, online prospects and online applications. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary) Compensation: The hourly pay range for this role is: $21.50 - $25.50/hour; commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience, such as three years' experience in banking, consumer lending, residential lending or mortgage banking environment required Registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required within 30 days of employment Three years of experience in banking, consumer lending, residential lending or mortgage banking environment required (may be obtained concurrently) Three years of pre-underwriting experience preferred Excellent communication and sales skills supporting the ability to generate loan volume Able to handle confidential matters judiciously Possesses good math, analytical and problem solving skills Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through Able to plan and organize Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines Are you interested in learning more about us?
