Technical Lead, North American Insurance Operations

Job Description - Technical Lead, North American Insurance Operations We are seeking a strong candidate with operational skills and insurance knowledge to support our North American Production Underwriters. The position requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and people leadership skills with an interest in utilizing and introducing new technology solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Gain a deep understanding of Product Set, including form sets by state and related regulatory and compliance requirements. • Establish a centralized repository of forms for team members. • Document workflows, create and maintain process maps, and training materials. • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for system testing and projects related to the line of business. • Review daily procedures of team for opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency metrics via training sessions, process documentation, and workflow updates. • Participate in a Technical Lead Workstream Project to define common processes and procedures for the enterprise and initiate cross-training opportunities between teams. • Collaborate with Insurance and Business Operations team members and contribute to the Allied World Target Operating Model Initiative. • Engage in AW Connect Conversations with agreement to meaningful, measurable, and personal goals. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience in the industry. • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to function independently. • Knowledge of insurance and experience working with internal customers. • Proficient computer skills, especially in Windows-based systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet explorer-based applications. • Risk Management degree and/or Professional Insurance designation preferred.
