Software QA Engineer

• Collaborate with the Test Automation Lead to develop and maintain QA HIL test systems. • Create and execute robust test cases to validate system functionality and meet program requirements. • Organize testing to align with product delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment. • Maintain a customer-focused mindset and deliver high-quality user experiences. • Analyze system performance for bottlenecks and address issues. • Participate in enhancing the agile development process. • Document and prioritize defects, driving timely resolution. • Execute manual and automated tests for Infotainment components. • Configure test benches and test vehicles for performance evaluations. • Multitask across multiple platforms and update test cases as needed. • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve defects. Skills & Qualifications: • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Software preferred). • 0-5 years of experience in embedded software or HMI validation. • Familiarity with CAN, J1939, UDS protocols (preferred). • Experience with real-time test systems (e.g., dSPACE, NI, Vector). • Proficient with troubleshooting tools (scopes, multimeters). • Experience with Python and Git; Jenkins, JIRA, TestRail preferred. • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. What you'll bring to the Software QA Engineer role: Preferred: • Experience with cloud-connected, integrated systems. • Familiarity with Bluetooth sniffer tools, CAN tools, and automotive diagnostics. • Test automation, UI, and mobile application testing experience. • Knowledge of wire harness design and tools like Eggplant, CANoe, MATLAB/Simulink, FMI.
