Security Engineer (DC Metro Area / Telework)

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. We are recruiting an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team. Work is hybrid telework with some work onsite in Washington, DC and may become full-time onsite in DC. POSITION DUTIES: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: • Perform Application Security for Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and IDE Plug-in environments using Veracode. • Secure Linux/UNIX enterprise web applications. • Design and implement enterprise-wide security controls to secure applications, systems, network, and/or infrastructure services. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Applicants MUST have this experience: • 3+ years of experience with supporting Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and IDE Plug-in environments using Veracode. • 3+ years of experience with Burp Suite. • 2+ years of experience with Java, Python, .NET, or C#. • Experience with securing enterprise web applications and OWASP Top 10, CVSS, CWE, WASC, and SANS-25. • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX environments, including navigating and troubleshooting basic website connectivity issues. • Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, or FedRAMP. • Experience with Eclipse, JDeveloper, including pipeline development, or Visual Studio. EDUCATION: • High School diploma or GED WORK AUTHORIZATION: • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
