Retail Pharmacist
B-3301248 Note: Salary depends on years of experience** Location: PA, CA, TX, NY and OR Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing excellent customer service, and offering health and wellness advice to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel customers on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Provide health and wellness advice, including information on drug interactions, side effects, and proper usage.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of employment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- 1+ year of previous relevant work experience.
