JOB DESCRIPTION Journeyman Electrician Description: Journeyman electricians are responsible for conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting in a variety of work areas. They must always follow strict safety procedures to prevent workplace incidents, and often use tools such as pliers and screwdrivers to disconnect equipment. Journeyman Electrician Tasks:
- Install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
- Troubleshoot motor and controls.
- Layout and prepare equipment for installation.
- Install feeder wires.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
