Senior Blockchain Developer (Remote, Brazil)

This is a contract position for those based in Brazil.

The Role

NearForm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Developer to join our team of consultants. In this role, you will work directly with clients on diverse and impactful projects, leveraging your deep understanding of software engineering and Web3 / Blockchain. If you have a passion for building innovative applications and a track record of delivering complex solutions in a client-facing environment, we want to hear from you.

What you will do

• Design & build Blockchain systems and integrations using Golang;
• Support system design, development, and maintenance and taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team;
• Assist with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building, and deployment;
• Design and implement data storage solutions;
• Optimize performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability;
• Get feedback from users and clients, and build solutions for them;
• Assist with the analysis of client requirements;
• Work with and support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery;
• Collaborate with internal and client teams.

What we are looking for

• Proficient communication in English (oral and written) and excellent communication skills;
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering in an high-quality agile environment;
• 2+ years of professional experience with Blockchain (managing wallets, signings, submitting transactions, swapping services, smart contracts, etc);
• Deep understanding of server-side code, with extensive experience developing in Golang;
• Deep understanding of Web3 and Blockchain;
• Experience with Blockchain technologies such as Solana (ideally) or Cardano Ethereum, Avalanche, and BNB;
• Experience with Finance and Decentralised finance (DeFi).

Application Process

1. A Video Interview with someone from the recruitment team (30 mins approx.) to introduce to you Nearform and the role, and to make sure your experience is relevant for the position.2. An assessment with a member of the hiring team (1 hr approx.), this session is carried out using a screen share. You will be given a challenge and asked to provide a working solution to a specified problem.3. A Panel Interview with 2 members from our Leadership team (1 hr approx.) which allows us to gain a better insight into what interests you, and your technical background, and give you an overview of the work we do at Nearform.
