Senior Product Designer

Alt is on a mission to revolutionize investing by unlocking the value of alternative assets (collectibles first), a $60B+ market. As a Senior Product Designer (Contractor), you’ll play a key role in shaping the core Alt platform, creating seamless and engaging user experiences across web and mobile. You’ll help collectors research, manage, insure, and leverage their alternative asset portfolios. As one of the early members of the Design team, you’ll have a significant impact on our Product, Brand, Culture, and overall Company trajectory.

• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to create thoughtful, user-centric solutions.
• Own design projects end-to-end, from early exploration to final implementation.
• Advocate for users by continuously iterating on and evolving our core products and experiences.
• Conduct and participate in design reviews, gathering feedback from across the organization.
• Balance broad, open-ended design explorations with tactical, execution-focused work.
• Become a champion for our customers—dive into user research, analyze data, and run experiments to uncover insights that drive impactful design decisions.
• Split your time between maintaining and expanding our design system (50%) and working on core product features (50%).

• Experience: 5+ years of experience designing digital products in an agile, cross-functional environment.
• Design Expertise: Strong skills in visual/interaction design, branding, typography, and UX/UI best practices.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma design systems, including creating, maintaining, and scaling across platforms. Experience with Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, and other industry-standard tools.
• Platform Experience: Background designing for iOS, Android, and Web applications.
• User-Centered Approach: Ability to leverage quantitative data and qualitative research to inform and iterate on design decisions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to articulate design decisions, gather feedback, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in Marketplaces or Fintech is a plus.
