Remote Opening as a Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician

Job Description: Job Title: 'Pharmacy Technician' Estimated Length of Assignment: 06 Months (With possible extension) (The dates provided are only an estimate and not a guarantee) Est. Pay Range: $18.00/hour -$21.24/Hour on W2 (USD) Location: Remote Schedule:Assigned shifts vary from 7am to 8pm CT. Training hours 8am - 430pm CT Questioner:Do you have any conflicts with the training schedule, or have any time off planned during the assignment duration? This is a work from home (WFH) position. You must have a dedicated quiet, separate space in which to work with wired internet meeting 25mbps min download and 3mbps minimum upload speed. -Do you have a separate workspace with no interruptions? Please provide screenshot of license Duties: This position takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist. Experience: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.The Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not required at a State or National level. Minimum (1) year experience required in a customer service position with *high volume call center* experience in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
