Silver Lining In-Home Care is looking to hire full- and part-time HHAs to provide in-home care services to our clients Located in New Castle and Wilmington DE. If you are purpose-driven and looking to start your career in health care, we provide a 2-week HHA Certification Course (In person, M/T/TH/F). The course itself is FREE, and you'll get a free bag at the end! After your first 300 hours of employment, your certificate will be released to you. Requirements: Eligible to work in the United States (we are not able to provide sponsorship) Criminal record check which meets hiring guidelines Physical and 2-Step PPD Able to lift, position, and transfer patient Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellency and a good attitude Instructor-Lead Course: Each classroom day with be split between lecture and skills You will be assigned homework that is required to be completed On Wednesdays, you have the option of an additional open lab to get your skills ready Each Friday, you will be tested on your skills through skills competency sign-offs and tests At the completion of the two-week course and orientation, you will be ready to pick up shifts and help those in our community! In addition, this course offers Behavioral Health Paraprofessional training that would prepare you with the skills to care for those with behavioral and mental health needs.
