Senior Host Advisory Board Lead, Expanding Beyond the Core

They are leaders in their communities and trusted partners helping us shape Airbnb's future. They offer feedback and guide decisions across product, design, policy, and operations. The Expanding Beyond the Core Host Advisory Board will be central to how we build community and help provide ongoing feedback on what it means to be a host on our platform. The Difference You Will Make: This is a highly visible role with both our host community and internal cross functional leadership teams. It sits at the intersection of community building, program management and insights. The role reports directly to the Director Community Voice and will partner closely with the lead for Host Advisory Board, Stays. A Typical Day: Accountable for leadership of the Host Advisory Board for Expanding Beyond the Core. Vision development and planning Develop and deliver on a vision for the Host Advisory Board that is focused on Expanding Beyond the Core. Define key performance indicators to measure success, ensuring that the board's initiatives contribute to Airbnb' goals. Work to embed the Host Advisory Board within the host community as a key way Airbnb engages its community Program operations Collaborative with the Stays Host Advisory Board Lead and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment across programs Lead the cross functional effort to identify, vet, onboard, off boarding of members ensuring a diverse and representative group that reflects the needs of the host community and Airbnb. Lead feedback sessions with the hosts and with Product, Design, Policy, and Operations teams, ensuring that host voices are heard and integrated into decision-making processes. Empower Board members by providing them with the tools and resources needed to engage meaningfully with each other and the broader Airbnb community. Custodian of Host Advisory Board members including engagement and sentiment measurement and strategy Cross-functional Collaboration and Influence Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Research and Consumer Insights. Build influential partnerships with product, policy, and operations leadership, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for host perspectives. Collaborate with internal communications teams to amplify host voices in key forums across Airbnb Synthesize host feedback from the Host Advisory Board and drive advocacy across Airbnb. Manage and prioritize business requests for the Host Advisory Board Your Expertise: 10+ years of experience in community engagement, program management and research with a focus on building strong relationships with customers / community. Ideally direct experience being an Airbnb host, or have a sound understanding of the Airbnb community Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, policy, and operations teams. Passion for working with the Airbnb community and connecting what you hear to internal stakeholders Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and take initiative. Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and stay organized. Skilled at synthesizing complex information into high-level executive reporting. Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments, particularly startups. Able to work independently with minimal guidance while proactively addressing challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Your Location: This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
