Functional Medicine Training Specialist ($45-80 per hour, flexible, online)

We are looking for an experienced healthcare provider who is trained and passionate about Functional, Integrative, and nutritional medicine. If you love reviewing research, sharing your clinical experience and educating others, and have great communication skills - we want to hear from you! The American Academy of Functional Health is growing, and we are looking for an Integrative Medicine Training Specialist to create and teach classes to healthcare providers (including physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, and pharmacists) on Functional and integrative medicine. Job description: • Review research and create presentations on topics related to Functional Medicine, clinical nutrition, and herbal medicine. • Present in online classes and medical programs • Assist the Educational Director with student activities at the academy Requirements: • Must have an advanced degree (Master’s or a Doctorate) in a healthcare field. • Must have additional training in Clinical Nutrition, Functional Medicine, or Naturopathic medicine. • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical practice using Functional and integrative medicine (e.g., nutrition and herbal medicine for the treatment of chronic conditions). • Have experience with reviewing Functional medicine labs, such as mitochondrial function/organic acids, environmental medicine, GI analysis, Dutch test, and/or genetic tests • Great written and verbal communication skills • Have a stable connection and sufficient internet speed for video communication Working location and schedule: • Remote/online • Part-time • Starting with 2 days per week • Availability to start Pay: • From $40 to $80 per hour (depending on educational and clinical experience, as well as experience in teaching) • Contract Employment (W-9) -> PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in the position, please fill in the application at the Academy's board: https://form.jotform.com/250345937656163 Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $45.00 - $80.00 per hour Benefits: • Professional development assistance Schedule: • 4 hour shift Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
