Job Title: Remote Bookkeeper for Hospitality Clients

Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and professional bookkeeper with a background in the hospitality sector. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to support our restaurant clientele while being part of a vibrant team that prioritizes growth, empathy, and integrity.

Compensation

And Benefits • $26 per hour during the training period • $29 per hour upon successful completion of training • The training period typically lasts 6 months • 401k plan • Medical and dental benefits for employees based in Massachusetts • Flexible work-from-home arrangements • Paid time off (PTO) • Additional benefit: Certification in the Profit First for Restaurants Cash Management System, which takes approximately 12 months to complete. Key Responsibilities • Manage reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reviews for around 20 small businesses monthly. • Provide comprehensive accounts payable services, including the organization and payment of bills weekly, monthly sales tax filing, and cash flow management. • Deliver outstanding client service with a focus on achieving 5-star reviews each quarter. • Assume ownership of your responsibilities and actively seek constructive feedback to improve your skills. • Communicate effectively, ensuring timely responses to teammates within 60 minutes and to clients within 24 hours. Required Skills • A minimum of one year of bookkeeping experience within the restaurant industry. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO). • A passion for organization and lists; you thrive on maintaining order. • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy. • Excellent communication skills, complemented by a fun and approachable demeanor. Qualifications • At least one year of relevant bookkeeping experience in hospitality. • Capability to demonstrate fundamental bookkeeping knowledge. • A genuine desire to foster remarkable experiences for clients and colleagues.
