IT Service Advisor – Vendor Management - Contract - W2 Only - Remote

IT Service Advisor - Vendor Management This is a W-2 position only (no staffing agencies or contractors). Candidates must currently reside in the U.S. Open to remote Core Hours: M-F, 9 am-5 pm CST Duties: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Gathering requirements, communicating expectations, analyzing designs, constructing, and delivering solutions with minimal team interaction. • Configuring data extraction to specified file layouts. • Ensuring thorough testing and sign-off prior to moving to production. • Documenting development activities. • Building relationships and maintaining regular contact with vendors. • Coordinating and hosting meetings, and leading presentations. • Proactively identifying gaps, potential issues, and root causes. • Monitoring, triaging, and routing tickets; performing issue analysis and resolution or proper delegation. • Closely collaborating with Business, Compliance, Vendor, and IT (both production support and development) team members to successfully manage day-to-day activities. Skills: • Vendor management and/or project management. • Managing multiple activities effectively and delivering on-time solutions. • Communicating at all organizational levels and managing/reporting on SLAs. • Ability to work in an environment with rapidly changing business requirements and priorities. • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills to resolve potential issues and escalate as necessary. • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), file exchange implementation, SQL development, and support. • Strong focus on delivering superior customer service. • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Willingness to learn both our business and our vendor's business. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules while delivering quality work on time. • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), file exchange implementation, SQL development, and support. • Knowledge of the Medicare and Medicaid industries. • Experience working in agile and matrixed environments. • Flexibility and experience working as both an individual contributor and a team member. Education: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of experience.
