Business Analytics Director (Value based Care Analytics & Reporting) - Hybrid

About the position The Business Analytics Director will lead operational analytics and reporting initiatives to support Cigna's health plan affordability programs focused on value-based care. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to provide strategic analytics, actionable reporting, and financial management, driving innovation in healthcare solutions and enhancing Cigna's growth strategy. Responsibilities • Oversee operational analytics, reporting implementation & innovation, market support analytics and financial management reporting. , • Interact daily with business leads to understand their strategy and deploy analytics that help achieve business goals. , • Drive and execute program specifications from a reporting standpoint in partnership with IT. , • Create, manage, and deploy financial management reporting to drive visibility on program financial success. , • Partner with local market contractors and clinicians to provide actionable improvement opportunities through ongoing analytics. , • Execute automation of non-standard processes and institute standardization and quality assurance across all delivery aspects. , • Identify and execute initiatives to embed analytics within business processes to drive an insight-driven culture. , • Offer authoritative positions on strategic contract/product/solution offerings and ensure consistent messaging across the organization. , • Prioritize work across multiple projects for decision making based on data and analytical findings. , • Lead cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions through internal development and external partnerships. Requirements • 10+ years of healthcare industry experience solving business problems through analytics. , • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile structure to drive reporting implementation and automation. , • Hands-on experience with healthcare data (claims, eligibility, EMR) and advanced analytics techniques. , • Direct experience in primary care and specialty Value Based Programs, including program evaluations and data mining. , • Strong healthcare and health plan business acumen for developing actionable guidance using key metrics. , • Ability to navigate and contribute in a highly matrixed business environment. , • Strategic vision and agility to think ahead and incorporate future trends into strategic roadmaps. , • Experience managing teams of advanced degree equivalent analytic resources.
