Asset and Liability Optimization Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Asset and Liability Optimization Lead Analyst for its New York, NY location. Duties: Own and enhance client level allocation process across all revenue components. Drive execution and improve deposit incentive programs to maximize returns and product performance. Lead and improve deposit management and optimization efforts through client revenue assessment, building relevant KPI reporting, and trend analytics. Assist in monthly sales updates related to revenues, pricing, and optimization strategies. Support balance sheet costing efforts on analytics and implementation. Apply financial expertise and asset/liability management techniques to optimize balance sheet utilization and return while considering key regulatory constraints. Work with finance and treasury partners to support business objectives. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Four (4) years of experience must include: Identifying data variance drivers with an understanding of the significance of material changes in trade sizes and outlining the impact of these changes to senior management; Building spreadsheets utilizing Excel to evaluate financial data, calculate critical ratios, analyze critical data elements, and financial ratios among different products and clients; Utilizing findings of Key Performance Indicators (“KPI”) analysis to help structure new initiative programs; Creating policy documents, frameworks, and execution methodology to ensure processes are well documented and replicated in other markets; and Coordinating with front office and product control to ensure policies are being executed successfully. 40 hrs./wk.
