Warehouse Worker / Package Handler Job Summary: UPS is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers who are also available to serve as Warehouse Worker / Package Handler. This dynamic role involves working inside the warehouse for package handling and driving UPS trucks for deliveries. As a Warehouse Worker, you will handle loading and unloading packages, while as a Temporary Cover Driver, you will deliver packages to customers. This position requires flexibility, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to excel in both warehouse and driving environments. Responsibilities: Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and trucks. Sort packages to ensure accurate delivery. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to safety protocols and UPS procedures. Work 3 ½ - 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday or Tuesday-Saturday), based on operational needs. Drive UPS trucks to deliver packages to various locations. Interact with customers and provide excellent service. Adhere to driving safety protocols and UPS procedures. Work 8 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday or Tuesday Saturday). Pass a DOT physical and comply with UPS appearance guidelines. Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Worker / Package Handler: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Stamina for continuous physical activity. Valid drivers license (CDL not required; type varies by state). Excellent customer service and driving skills. Legal right to work in the U.S. Compliance with UPS uniform and appearance guidelines.
